I have a Hp Pavilion dv6 computer and I had problems with booting windows 10 after the upgrade. The PC was more than two minutes before entering. I discovered it was a problem due to the fact that at startup the PC does not know which of the two video cards to start.

How to disable ULPS on AMD Crossfire Setups

Introduction

Why should you disable Disable ULPS? If you have two AMD cards in crossfire, ULPS is probably enabled.
ULPS disables the second GPU when it is not in use. This is fine, but sometimes it causes problems with overclocking and / or playing certain games.
It can also cause other problems for troubleshooting, it is recommended to disable ULPS.

Step 1
Go to the registry by typing “regedit” in Windows Search.

Step 2
Go to the “Edit” tab and click “Find”.

Step 3
In the text box, type “EnableULPS” and then press Find.

Step 4
You should see “EnableULPS”. Double click on it.

recap
ULPS should now be disabled. Although you can choose to disable it in Afterburner and Catalyst Control Center, it is often reactivated after an upgrade and is therefore more efficient.

Note: if you want to reactivate the ULPS, simply return the value to “1”.
